1. Begin with tame parents
2. Handle the eggs gently each day
3. Talk to the eggs and parents each day
4. Talk to the newly hatched chicks at least 3 times a day
5. Gently touch the newly babies' cheeks and beaks in the nest
6. As they grow pick them up gently and talk to them and stroke them in your hand
7. Offer hand rearing mix at correct temperature and consistency in the nest each day
8. Increase their hand rearing mix volumes and frequency of feeds as they grow
9. After they are fully feathered the time out of nest in your hand for cuddles should extend to 15 mins per session - Do that 3 times per day. Lots of cuddling, kissing and talking to them.
10. By the time the babies are ready to fledge they will be totally hand tamed.
11. Continue with the hand rearing mix for as long as they wish to have it.
11. After fledging handle them frequently and have them out of the cage for up to one hour at a time.
12. Leave them in the parents' cage whenever you are not handling them because the parents will teach them valuable lessons in 'birdhood' that you can't such as eating independently, preening and much more.
